Arts on Earth’s mission – integrating art-making and the arts throughout the university – depends upon collaboration. So far, more than 100 faculty from over 15 units have participated in Arts on Earth programming and projects. Hundreds of students from 30 units have registered for AoE events. Our commitment is to grow these numbers steadily over the coming years.

Arts on Earth has gathered faculty from 10 different units who are interested in researching classroom practices that enhance and inhibit undergraduate creativity. Learn more.
First Tuesdays are gatherings held the first Tuesday of most academic months from 5 – 7 pm in Slusser Gallery in the Art & Architecture Building, map. The intention of these events is to spur interdisciplinary collaborations by introducing faculty and students whose paths would not ordinarily cross. Arts on Earth provides space, food, music, and a program of interdisciplinary presentations by faculty and graduate students. Information about past and future events is available here.
Arts on Earth is a member of the Provost's Public Goods Council, where it works with museums, libraries, presenting organizations, and other holders of "public goods" across campus to maximize collaborative opportunities
Arts on Earth participates as well in the highly diverse Research Impacts Team, exploring ways to deepen societal understanding of research breakthroughs and their impact on our lives.
